I began my career as a Fashion Stylist whilst living in Tokyo where I was working as a Children’s Entertainer on Sesame Street. I spent seven years in Tokyo, dividing my time between singing and dancing up a storm with Big Bird and Cookie Monster, and working as a fashion stylist, and music and fashion reporter. It was a fun filled time, hosting Sesame shows for kids, and engulfing myself in the city’s phenomenal fashion and style.
On my return to Australia, my language ability, my instinctive understanding of Asian pop cultures and aesthetics, and my particular take on “Harajuku Style” saw me become the fashion stylist/wardrobe designer of choice for Japanese clients shooting in Australia. Over the last decade, I've mixed international with domestic clients, styling campaigns for some of the world’s biggest, and smallest style-savvy companies.
Over recent years, I’ve added another arrow to my creative bow, styling interior shoots as well. It was a natural progression and one that fits well.
From the catwalks to the flea markets, I have my finger firmly on the fashion and furnishings pulse, bringing in every job on-schedule, on-budget and on-style. My vibrant and playful styling, and my ability to mix St Vinnies with Versace and K-mart with Kenzo, sees we working with a long list of clients for print campaigns and TV commercials.
Clients have included MTV, Uniqlo, Mitsubishi, Sony, Canon, Giordano, Telstra, Westfield, Qantas, BMW, Evian, Yamaha, Toyota, Honda, and Panasonic and Freedom.
